Concealing the new capacitors within old:
Without this option, you'll notice no difference above-chassis and there will the set's performance will be unaffected. But if you choose this option, even in invisible areas under or inside the chassis the set will maintain its original appearance. This is generally only desirable in 'sensitive' restorations where a set is very old or rare. This option is only available for PRE-1939 TELEVISION restorations and will be carried out to the best of our ability. Please bear in mind that occasionally with some components it's not possible.
British-made television sets only can be serviced.
A television is only accepted for service when its horizontal scan transformer, the blocking oscillator transformer (when fitted) and the cathode ray tube are already in good condition. Please note that these items, and all valves fitted to post-1950 TVs (only) cannot be included in the guarantee.
